  1. It is up now. Feel free to hit it at that price. So far no offers on it, but I have had a couple on the Tec #411 9.0 Twin Cities copy and the GL #76 6.5.
  2. This book surprised way to the upside with a recent submission so I am thinking of holding onto it for a bit:
  3. Congrats, Greggy. That is a decent price for a 9.2. (thumbs u The only Adams Batman that went for a well above GPA price was the 9.6 #251. The 9.6 #245 did fairly well also. It will be interesting to see how the Adams' Tecs do now as there are no big/key issues up tonight.
  4. No, B is a brighter/glossier book in hand as well. I am torn between the two. Copy A has better centering, but the spine dings are an issue. Copy B is brighter, but is not as well centered and has distributor ink overspray. I will poste the back covers as well so you can see.
  5. With Greggy's copy poised to set a new high price for 9.2 Batman #227, I am debating whether I should sell one of my 9.2s. Which copy would you keep? A: or B:
  6. It will go up this weekend with a bunch of the others i posted in the Adams cover thread for an end of month sale. (thumbs u
  7. Here are the latest two copies of #227 I have had come back: This was a total shock as I had it graded as a FN-/FN originally. And this was a bit of a disappointment as I have had 9.4s come back the past year that looked worse.
  8. It does not count if you do not have a 9.4+ #238 in the mix. fify. Nah, I liked the original books better. I have never been a big fan of #238 for some reason.
  9. It does not count if you do not have a 9.8 #222 or #227 in the mix.
  10. Wow - Greggy's 9.2 is already up to $800 with 10 days remaining. At this rate, it has a shot at topping recent 9.4 prices.
  11. At this rate it may top $1500. Looks like I will have to sell one of my 9.2s now while the getting is good.
  12. All.... or just the "keys" ? Based on the action on #221 and #236 already, it may be more across the board than just the keys.
  13. I hope it does as well. My latest copy only came back as a 9.2 so now I have two in grade and will have to decide whether to keep them both or move one. Here's hoping you get $1200 for yours.
  14. The one in the current auction that is at $500 already? If yes, congrats. It has a shot at topping $1K.
  15. That's a nice set and has fantastic, inherent historical value but without the cover and Irv Novick's art... bleh It is funny, for me, on some of these once you see the inside of the book the desire to own it goes down a bit. I love Jeff Jones and was an underbidder at just under $800 for the recent ww 200 9.6 that sold on clink back in March I think. Recently both ww 199 and 200 showed up on comixology so I downloaded and read the issues. Now that I've read the story and seen the art, I'm not sure that I'm in the market for a WW200 anymore. Remember, in the age of CGC all that matters is the cover, not the content.
  16. Based on the usual bidding trend, the lot should sell for way more than this. Outside of the Tec #395 and #400, there is not much value in the stated conditions.
  17. Wow. Check out the price on this Heritage lot already: http://comics.ha.com/c/item.zx?saleNo=121220&lotNo=12119&lotIdNo=30006 Nothing really high grade but it is going for a strong price. I used to pick up these lots for less than the current bid just a year or so ago.
  18. looks like 9.2, i'll take it off your hands for OSPG and give you my grading notes for free I tried to PM you an invoice, but looks like you removed yourself from our last PM thread. Oh well, I guess I will just hang onto it instead. I have not removed myself our latest PM thread so feel free to send me an invoice for the OSPG 9.2 price. I will even add a bit for shipping.
  19. what a surprise But how many are the Canadian price variants?
  20. I have one of those all in one HP scanner/printer/fax devices. I think it is a L7600 or something like that.
  21. Here are my two wins from last month's Clink auctions. Too bad I did not snag more of them as the prices were better than this month.
  22. I wonder how high this raw copy of Batman #222 will go? http://www.ebay.com/itm/Batman-222-DC-1970-Robin-NEAR-MINT-9-2-NM-Beatles-issue-Neal-Adams-art-/230780261971?pt=US_Comic_Books&hash=item35bb935653
