  1. Got the fever, and added this one for 1st app. Peacemaker. Scanner really picks up the smudges, but cool nonetheless:
  2. And I only need one..... (thumbs u Took forever for me to be able to snag a lower grade copy on mycomicshop. This is a tough book to find. I just noticed that a Space Adventures 33 6.0 just popped up on ebay. With only 1 GPA sale recorded since 2012, I think this one will be very interesting to watch.
  3. Nice ones. Love the CA, and the True Life Secrets run seems to be full of great covers. Great books!
  4. I wouldn't be surprised in the least that Peacemaker could pop up with an appearance in some movie. I always thought the Peacemaker was a pretty cool vigilante type character with some potential. Not very prominent in the DC universe, but has had some story arcs and even weak ties to Suicide Squad (Amanda Waller). So a great book to own, especially in the movie speculation age.
  5. And I feel like I've posted some of these before in the SA forum, but here are a few more that I've got scanned and in Photobucket:
  6. Now that's a nice looking copy of blue beetle 1 and 1st appearance Question. Nice!
  7. I'm on the lookout for one of those. 1st appearance Peacemaker is bound to get hot any day now Nice book.
  8. Now that is a fantastic looking book! Oh how I miss mine.
  9. I know some really nice copies of Space Adventures #2 and #3 were already posted by vaultkeeper, but I don't think I've posted mine in this thread yet:
  10. (thumbs u That's the hope, at least. I'm going to try "family hour" with my girls, so am hoping they like it. I keep trying to harness their inner "geek", so maybe this is the one
  11. Well played. Nice books! I never get tired of seeing Space Adventures 33, and those Thunderbolts are really cool.
  12. Great explosion cover! I love those early Space Adventures you posted as well.
  13. Great looking cover. I need to find one of these for myself. Nice! One of my favorites is Mysteries of Unexplored Worlds #14. One of the stories is even penciled by Matt Baker!
  14. Charlton also had some very funky titles like Space Western:
  15. And we can't forget perhaps Charlton's most recognizable super-hero, Captain Atom.
  16. Try Superman Adventures 21, 29-30, 39 & 41. They are most age approriate and a little more modern too. Justice League Unlimited 7, 16 and especially 20 packs a lot great pre-teen girl power too. Enjoy! I'll definitely have to pick those up and give them a try. Hard to find entertaining comics for my girls. They're past the Tiny Titans kind of stuff, but aren't ready for some of the modern comics out there. Thanks for the tip (thumbs u
  17. Very cool. Another one to add to my want list. Can't wait to see more. Though Charltons were pretty lackluster in the late 60s and into the 70s, some of their earlier works were top notch. Add in Steve Ditko art on some, and there are some excellent comics that rivaled any of the competition. Some of my favorites!
  18. Looking forward to this. I've read all the SA Supergirl Action Comics archives to my pre-teen girls, so glad that this might be age appropriate. Seems like a great family show for us.
  19. I think it is too. Glad I could help. You guys rock! My first Okajima congrats! one of the coolest of all the peds. my timely okajima is one of the faves of my global run. Now that's a beauty of a book. Wow.
