  2. 229 9.0 $35 258 9.2 $20 take @ 50% thx!
  3. @CGC Mike - will there be a window where both the new and the current labels are all available, or will it be a hard stop on the current labels when the new ones are announced?
  4. yeah, at $300 that's too good to pass up
  5. Transformers 34 F/VF $1 (if available) New Mutants 87 2nd Print VF $3.25 Transformers 37 signed by Jose Delbo VF/VF+ $8
  6. I have 3 books that were sent in 3x each for repeated Mechanical Errors - tbh I gave up after round 3, as there was evidence of damage to one of the actual books, and the 3rd round of slabs had the least glaring of the Mechanical Errors (mostly large scuffs, a couple had clearly visible scratches, debris, etc.) Fwiw, I have had only one book come back in the last 6 or so weeks (out of ~10? books) that went back for a Mechanical Error - and it was pretty minor (still clearly visible, but not as glaring as some of the earlier ones), so I definitely think there's been some recent improvement to the processes.
  7. Thanks @NickiO CS - that's what I would have thought as well & suspect that the book I submitted with an existing signature, which did not get retained on the label after resubmitting for the 2nd signature was simply a Mechanical Error. For clarity: any signature that currently exists on a book resubmitted for an additional signature, only needs to have the additional signature added during the order submission process, and the existing signature will also be preserved on the label. Thx!
  8. I reached out to CC directly and they confirmed that Ray Park did cancel attending the SF FanExpo. (as to why there was no follow up email from CC... ...)
  9. Hi - does anyone know if Ray Park attended the SF FanExpo a couple weeks ago? I sent in a book with Captured Collectibles as the facilitator, but just noticed on the Official Pix website that 'Note: Ray Park Cancelled. Refunds will be issued.' I'm hoping that the Official Pix signing was some kind of private event that was cancelled, rather than the general appearance. Haven't heard a peep from Captured Collectibles, so fingers crossed everything went smoothly...
  10. Good point @alexgross.com! Would you consider the DD 180 / Avengers 5 NYCC books an homage, or oddly similar?
  11. Here's another scenario @NickiO CS - I submit a book to a facilitator for a celebrity signing - unfortunately the celebrity cancels, and reschedules at another event a couple weeks later. If I had the option for the facilitator to return the book directly to me, it's likely that I would be able to get the book back in hand and to another facilitator for the follow up event, but as it stands now, my book has to go through all of CGC's processes, and would likely miss the follow up event.
  12. I have a signed book I'm planning on having cracked, signed and resubmitted by a verified facilitator - when I'm submitting the order form, do I add the existing signature as well, or only the new, additional signature? (I ask mostly because I've done this once already; only added the new signature to the order form, and the label came back with only the new signature listed : / - that book has already been returned as a Mechanical Error)
  13. @Ziazmere1 SS CS said they aren't going to re-open the submissions : /
  14. Great color choices on those Inhyuk signed books @waynemel
  15. +1 @Ziazmere1 - would love to be able to send a book in. @CGC Mike, is this a job for signatureseries@?
  16. Looks like there's a bit of plastic debris in there too : / Seems really unlucky - sorry @Michael Duck. I don't understand how shipping damage can do that - not refuting your statement, but more like a question - presuming it was well packaged, the shipper had to have majorly dropped it / forcefully thrown it to the ground in order for that dent & tear to have happen, no?
  17. I just received this book, label says 9.6 - I don't see anything too crazy as far as damage & no graders notes, so no way to tell why it lost the .2 besides guesswork. The census, interestingly, says there are no 9.6s, either signed or unsigned, and only 1 signed 9.8... This doesn't strike me as a book that sees a high volume of signed copies, so I'm wondering if the label is wrong? or is the census wrong? If the label is actually wrong, I need to send this back in for a Mechanical Error.
  18. Thanks - I appreciate that @NickiO CS - I've already been in touch with Customer Service about the relevant submissions - not much to be done tbh.
