  1. Wow, that sucks. Wishing you the best.
  2. I have about a dozen Church copies, but this is my favorite:
  3. Hi, Can you please add a comic to the Golden Age Hitler covers set? Military Comics #7 by Quality Comics, February 1942, has a Hitler cover. Thank you!
  4. That was my problem. Had a couple of books I was considering, but it’s hard to sneak out of the exam room and check out the auction. Might see if there is something in Saturday’s session that catches my eye.
  5. With everything dropping in grade, you’re going to save a ton of money in grading fees. Good call on the Sheena.
  6. I think this is considered rare, but I've owned two copies and I saw one at a show recently.
  7. I've been told that some of these early All Americans are tough to locate.
  8. I saw a copy in Chicago about 10 years ago. I think it was A-1 Comics. I regret not buying it, but had other priorities at the time.
  9. Here's my poor little example. If I recall correctly, Heritage ranked this as the toughest MLJ.
  10. In addition to no mustache, the uniform is plain and unadorned, not really something a Nazi officer would typically wear, much less Hitler himself. The style of the hat doesn’t seem right. Hitler is usually depicted either without a hat or wearing an officer’s hat. @Timely could weigh in, but I believe when we discussed this a few years ago, the consensus was that Zip #26 was not a Hitler cover.
  11. I agree. They do kinda grow on you. BTW, this one has 7 on the census.
  12. Hey, Blue Beetle #34 is just about the only Hitler cover I have in high grade, so BACK OFF! (But, yeah, IMHO, it and National #12 shouldn’t be on there)
  13. What's it been...at least a few years, maybe more, since a newly discovered Hitler cover was added to the list? Well, here's one that somehow avoided detection. Easy to see why we could miss this one. The Hitler image is very small, but there are several other covers with very tiny images of Hitler. I think it is clearly deserving to be added to the list. What say you, oh wise Boardies?
  14. Hang tough. Our thoughts are with you, your family, employees, and neighbors, and with everyone affected.
  15. So sorry to hear about your home. Thank goodness the family is safe.
  16. Looks like it’s going to get a little rough down in Panama City. Stay dry and be safe.
  17. Hard to say. If I ventured a guess on the Shadow, I would say it cost at least a full grade, maybe a grade and a half. On the Green Hornet, because it was lower grade to start, I don’t think it had much impact. Maybe a 0.5 drop?
  18. A couple that just came back this month. The Green Hornet has 2 centerfolds detached (but not noted on label).
  19. @skypinkblu Sharon, didn’t you have some decent pictures of the scratches on the inside of the slabs? I can’t get a good shot of them.
