I dont think i have any Bethlehems, are those dates stamps indicative of a bethlehem book? If so, definitely worth a resub for the Ped notation and hopefully a bump since that looks like an AMAZINGLY nice 9.4!

1971 Third Eye poster. I had never ever seen one before yesterday and another boardie posted one in CG. I spent half the night looking at them on eBay and all over the web and couldnt find any for a decent price in good condition. I go to my LCS today and they have like 10 that they got yesterday from a OO collection!
this one was by far the coolest to me and in really good shape. Considering its a freaking poster, the price was kind of insane to me but it looks so awesome in hand i had to have it. Apparently if you look at it under a black light, its REALLY awesome but havent tried that yet.

If you flip those slabs over on their side though, you'll be able to see the label and make it easier to know exactly where each book is instantly. Of course though, then they will probably hang over the edge and inch or two which you probably wont like but the trade off is worth it to me to be able to see the labels
Either way, thats an INSANE comic room! Is that actually a separate "comic room" or is that your living room that your apparently awesome beyond belief wife let you take over and fill with comic stuff?

Just got this back today from the frame shop was super happy to see it
I had NEVER even seen one of these before you posted it yesterday. I thought it was cool as hell and spent half the night looking for them on the web. Seems like every dang one is either CRAZY expensive or not in that good of shape. i go to my LCS today and oddly, they had like 10 of them that they got yesterday from a private collection. They had the one you posted and like 4 others but they werent in the perfect condition for the price.
They also had like 5 of the Third eye ones so i picked this one up. They had the Black Bolt, the Medusa, this one, A ithink Odin and Hela and 1 other im forgetting. the Silver Surfer one looked the coolest and was in the best condition. I dont think ive ever spent more than like $6 on a poster so there was definitely a little sticker shock but the thing is so cool in hand i cant even put it into words!
Thanks a lot man! just what i needed, one more thing to obsess over!

Hey, it is hard to just say "Nice books Greggy". You have to quote all his books or he will not have any idea what you are talking about.Its bad enough my phone browser wants to commit suicide after greggy posts trying to get all those pics to download. When someone then quotes it and doubles them up, my phone almost catches fire!
On a computer it doesnt really matter but on a iphone or iPad, DAMN it sucks!!!
When he posts 30 books and then 5 people quote it, it takes my iPad/iphone like 20 freaking minutes to load the page and all the photos!
Or Greg could not put as many books in one post as he does now.....
Hey, greggy is da man! He can post all 278 copies of Strawberry Shortcake 1 that he unearthed, thats what this thread is for. I dont know why people need to quote it 50 times though to tell him "Sweet book!". It would work just as well to just put his name in the quote tag and everyone would know what they are talking about.

i've seen it at £200 UK which is around $312 US, just have to wait and land lucky

I came REAL close to just saying F it! and getting the bronze Juggernaut like 10 times. I dont think i had ever seen it for less than like $325-350 before but finally someone actually put one in a auction instead of a BIN and i got it for $250. if you wait around, you will eventually find one fairly cheap.
Also, most people advertise these as new when they really arent. It seems like EVERY single one says in the description "NIB, only opened to inspect for damage and take pics!". of course, then when it arrives, it has freaking dust on it
Once in a blue moon though, you'll get an actual honest seller who will say it was displayed but is still in perfect condition. Once someone says it was displayed, the price PLUMMETS. if you can wait around and find one of those, that will probably be your best bet (thumbs u

I dont follow those so i dont know what they usually go for or if thats a good price or not. Based on what the Marvels go for, that seems kind of high to me but maybe its more rare than the Marvel bronze statues

Yeah, ive wanted the Bronze Hawkeye, Thanos and Juggernaut FOREVER! I already have the regular Hawkeye so that seems like a waste. I also have the regular Thanos but the Bronze one looks so cool i would still get it if i could ever find a good price.
The Juggernaut usually gets listed with like a $350 BIN and then $40 more for shipping. This one was an auction and no one bid. Starting bid was kinda high but still WAAAAY cheaper than other ones ive seen. One nutjob has it with a $600 BIN! Thats just crazy!
Zarduzi, i believe it is 13inches but it could be 15.5inches. Its standard Bowen statue size.

The gold is the best by far, the purple/yellow was just walking past and joined in.

Any thought to standing the slabs on their sides so the labels are visible? The edge of the books will probably hang over the edge like an inch which is annoying but makes it so much better to see the labels and know right where each book is. At least for me
Either way, that it beautiful! I WISH I had a room that size and could do something like that!
