  1. I'm glad to hear you are ok Joe. I was about to send you a batch this weekend but I thought I'd better hold on. I'll get it over to you soon.
  2. Is anyone up for a boardie dinner on one of the nights?
  3. I had the delay problem too. Check your TV settings and make sure it's on game more. The new TV's have a delay built in.
  4. Thanks man! Most of the came from Robotman, unbeknownst to me at the time.
  5. I had a blast! Here are some pickups: This ones going straight to the PC:
  6. I preferred faxing the arguments back and forth with my cousin. Faxing isnt bad but you don't get the tears of angry (actual wet drops) that something find their way on the written page. I'm not all that certain the dried drops were tears.....
  7. From what I have seen, situations like this where there is no clear winner tend to dilute the value of all the books, but I think it's a good thing for fans, because it makes the chase more fun.
  8. http://locations.eltorito.com/ca/yorba-linda/22699-oakcrest-circle.html This place is open until 11:00 and it's right next to the hotel.
  9. Lanier (GAFlash) and I are coming in and will land around noon on Saturday. If anyone wants to meet up on Saturday afternoon/evening, we will be game. And hell...why not....I'll buy! I'm in on this, I'll pick up the first round of drinks
  10. Right, because passive-aggressive millenials are the new go-to movie experts.
  11. No, it's the inverse-blob theory . . . any book that blob doesn't have or just sold for pennies is now worth zillions, and conversely, any book the blob has twenty copies of is now worth less than cover . . . Story of my life.
  12. I got this email the other day: "CGC has streamlined the process for submitters to its CCS affiliate by creating a single Fillable PDF Submission Form that works for both CGC and CCS. All submissions to CCS and CGC can now be tracked in one place through the CGC Submission Tracking feature. Previously, submitters to CCS needed to use a separate order form and submission tracking feature on CCSpaper.com This CCS order form will no longer be available but submitters can continue to login to the CCSpaper.com website to track the status of submissions made using this order form. The new Fillable PDF CGC / CCS Submission Form is available now if you log in at www.cgccomics.com"
  13. My stuff seems to be working fine. Weird, mine hasn't updated since 2014 even though I've submitted hundreds of books since then.
  14. Yes. Those ashcans from the 80's are hard. Zot, moebius, flaming carrot, grips, yummy fur, etc.. are other examples. Yeah it's a tough book and on the list of many horror fans
  15. I'd look at Tomb Raider and Rose and Thorn. I was looking through the WW run yesterday and I think a lot of those covers are underrated. 141 and 172 are steady because of Superman but there are a lot that stand out. CBSI had an article on 184 but I'm partial to 189, and I'm troubled by the white coloring on her chest in 153
  16. I picked one up for $4.00 about 6 months ago It's at CGC now.
