  1. Dear Mr Gator I have been seeking an unrestored WFC #3 for a while. Those nasty folk on ebay had a couple but for about 400% over GPA. A coverless one was listed for $150. Where do you think I should search next?
  2. Thats really interesting that both mine and yours have the non-spine colour break by Loki's ear (position). Is that common?
  3. I suppose,do you have a #4? This is a 1 and 4 club. Ah Oakie,I'm only half the fella you are! (but I'm really trying to get a nice one!) (thumbs u
  4. Y is indeed the most 'waiting to explode' book around at the moment. 9.8's are upto $400+ for #1. The movie/show hype continues....
  5. Yeah - I'm in next year. I wish more people would take part in charity threads, or raffles or even pay-it-forward. I know it means giving-something-away-for-free (a concept which would make some boardies physically ill it would seem) but its all a part of being on here. I couldn't give away enough to make up for the literally thousands of $ I've saved/made by being on here. Usually the ones boasting about having the 'best' of everything are the ones that never show any generosity. But that applies to all walks of life - not just a comics board!
  6. I totally see your point re: print numbers buddy - I really do. But Jesus has been in the series now for nearly as many as Abe, and #53 is doing very well. 14 issues I get, isn't a long time for a character BUT when Jesus reaches say 50 episodes (thats 3 years?) most of those 30k will have long passed the 9.8 condition. I personally think its a good time to but for upto $50,slab and keep. Its always going to be worth that much surely - Which was the first Tyreese again - any love being shown for that?
  7. Speaking of which - hows the love coming for #92. This will be the new #19 in 12 months or so. As long as Kirkman doesn't kill him.
  8. Oh just like this year really - just knock an 0 off the end of the price. See the GPA for TWD #1 - Hate to have sold 18 months ago - yikes!
  9. $136 + shipping - but that was in Australia,a limited market, and about 5 months ago.
  10. Never a truer thing said Doctor TBH - I have a great deal lined up,but I have to sell to buy, and I have, as at the last count nearly 200 slabbed books sitting in a concrete block in Florida.
  11. Where do you keep your flying monkeys? Up your Yellow brick road.
  12. Ok - I am now firmly 100% in the 'Start a WD OA thread' - and I even own some. Take it to PM or start a thread - Even Ballham Finest is starting on you now.
  13. No - Joey picked up some that were waiting well over 15 days. Unless i have the sell of a lifetime waiting - the $10 extra stays with me. This is now total wank by CGC. The first thing to do is stop having booths and machines at Cons. One guy to witness sigs, box em up and drive away. Rest of the little munchkins should be hard at it in fortress CGC. How can it now take 30 days to just encapsulate a book AFTER grading. Monopolising the market is the only think saving their sorry behind at the moment. I really wish someone from here would at least think of another company formation. Its win-win for everyone. I have 10k sitting here to buy a share of happyness - as have many others who would chip in for shares. I will now see if my wrist gets slapped Speedy-D stylee!
  14. Repetition time again by me - I think season 4 will be completely different from the comic. Kirkman has always wanted to go another way, and the speed with with the show is catching up with the comic, probably means all comic material would be gone by Season 4 anyway. My money is still on 'The Fightback' against the Zombies led by General Rick and Sergeant Carl. One City at a time.
