  1. Jayman, if no one else is going to say it, then I will. That is by far the funniest cover I have ever seen you come up with! Once again you prove why..... you the man, Jayman!
  2. Depends on your definition of pedestrian, I suppose. Most of it looks like Iger shop work to me.
  3. I wonder if that was Bruce's idea or just something Blevins threw in for laughs? You guys are aware that is a nice attempt at drawing the EC paperbacks that were issued, right...
  4. Anybody aware of what issues are being reprinted? I couldn't find any info, but I didn't exactly look very hard...
  5. Jayman, you know that cover would almost be perfect for you to do what you do & photoshop in the missing corner with that nice sparkling "Superior Chronic" logo you cam up with.
  6. Yeah, for aesthetic "feel" I'd have to say that the originals (which I only have a couple of) are going to provide something better than the reprints. Like stated, I don't know if it is in the colors or paper, but the originals have a more pleasing "tone" to the art, if you will. I still like the reprint Annuals for sheer reading pleasure convenience.
  7. I'm very partial to the bound "Annuals", myself! I've been waiting for you to chime in on this subject. Yeah, I'm a little behind on posting. Getting ready to wrap up my clinicals, start my precepting, & prepare for final exam & state testing. Not to mention getting the baby room ready. (She's due March 12th, & I gradute March 9th.) STRESS!!!.....
  8. Hey Sterling, you can click the link in my sig for my slightly outdated website, or shoot me a PM. Or I'll PM you.....
  9. I wonder if that was Bruce's idea or just something Blevins threw in for laughs?
  10. Shameless Plug: May I also mention that I did an article on the first few issues of the series in the first issue of HORROR COMICS REVIEW ?
  11. Possible SPOILER WARNING: Is "OVER HIS HEAD" the one where the guy drowns in the fish tank?
  12. Hey Gaute, "ALL HALLOWS" is a classic, no doubt! Easily my fave of the issue!
  13. Me too. I bet he would have been pretty good at horror stuff.
  14. I wish I had more of this title, but alas this is the only one of the run that I have.
  15. As promised, my first Pre-Code Horror comic.... HooRay! Good start!
  16. I like TABOO as well, but somehow I didn't get turned onto it until the mid 1990's.
  17. I bought this one from a local store where my cousin and I lovingly named the owner "Mole Man" based on a big mole on his face. (Yeah, we were not very mature) The guy was (and is) notoriously high in price with very little selection beyond moderns, but lo & behold he had this on his wall sometime around 1995 give or take. Yeah, I overpaid for it. Side note: all his overpricing must have eventually paid off, as he could afford to have his mole removed a few years ago.
