  1. Yeah, what's the term for study based upon skull characteristics? Phrenology?
  2. I was publishing my HORROR COMICS REVIEW fanzine, and two of my readers, POVERTY ROW & SHIVERBONES told me how cool the place was.
  3. Yet another LB Cole cover. Always thought this one was pretty cool.
  4. Here's a well deserved Methinks some people may come looking for this thread.
  5. I have not seen the Quartermass Experiment, it is any good?! LOVE the Blob!
  6. Hey Sterling, I think the series has been talked about over in the Copper Horror Thread. Great title, one of my sentimental faves. You should have no problem putting together a high grade run, pretty plentiful.
  7. Another LB Cole. I think "Creeping Death" was also the name of a song by Metallica many years later.....
  8. Haha. I heard Bob liked to indulge in illicit substances, so I could see it! ...and yes, that guy hanging from the mast is the sweetest touch!
  9. I know there are a couple LB Cole fans out there, right? Hehehe..... Hey! Is it me, or could the green dude on the left be the father of IGGY POP ??!!
  10. I've said it before, I'll say it again: I love when Atlas uses the "whole cover" technique as opposed to the "frames" on the side. This one is a great example, no need even for text.
  11. This is what happens when you rob graves! Man! Look at those pissed off dudes come running up in the background! Nice, scary touch.
  12. This one may be both a strangulation plus a dismemberment cover.
  13. This one was a fun read... you'd never guess who killed Agatha from the cover, but the interior story was of course easy to figure from the get-go. Some wild interiors by Heath in this one, too.
  14. Lots of "expecting" going on in those covers! No way they can say "unexpected"! Also, I believe the editors took liberty with the term "gentlemen" on your ST, Jayman.
  15. LB Cole.... skull dude with a hood.... yeah, it's pretty cool.
  16. Before Myron Fass was churning out lovable exploitative schlock through his Eerie Publications mags, he was drawing pre-code stuff like this. This one is particularly weak, although the chick has a nice leg. (What you can see of it.) The dialogue is atrocious...
  17. Thanks for the interior scan! The art looks pretty decent, I'm not so sure the story sounds too solid.
