Very cool post for #1,000! Well guys, I think I'm gonna need you all to channel me some mojo for my wedding this evening! Last night at the rehearsal I physically choked when it came time for me to repeat my vows. Couldn't do it! 3 times! The first two times it was like my voice just wouldn't work, so the pastor just went on to the next thing. The third time I told him he couldn't skip until I repeated my vows. Man! It took me forever because when I did get words out they were either inaudible with laughter or crying or both! Dang, I thought this was going to be easy!!!!!

AWESOME! The over-sized edition is also where I initially read the story as a child! It is always a rush to hear from other collectors who remember this story as making an impact on them the same as it did with me!

Yup. Kelly Freas did it. It is airbrushed. Off the top of my head, I think it is the only Kelly Freas airbrushed horror cover period.

Ever notice how Atlas often used the same title for stories in different books, or at least a play on the name. We have discussed "13th Floor!" already, but notice "They Dive by Night" is a play on "They Crawl by Night" (or vice versa) used in another Atlas title. Guess they went to the well so often that they occasionally came up dry.
