Was blowing happy rainbows your way ?
  4. 80's due to that bill type and construction. Maybe later
  5. I received this. Box was utterly thrashed and wrapped in Sarah wrap but the little books survived albeit a bit humidified
  6. Guess I need to go to Berkeley next time you have more and I'll comic shop ?
  7. And here's a shot of the ones I've got. Would like more ?
  8. I love finding these in collections and would love to complete my '75 set and get the '76. Here's a shot of some duplicates I have. ?
  9. Very pretty. Has quotes but no blue under the table and yet it still is appealing. ?
  10. Bought my first copy as part of a large collection so I figured I had $3 into it. Slabbed 1.8 and sold it for $2900 Bought another copy for $1400 and sold it for raw for $2700 the next week and that copy ended up being a 2.5 slab and then I did a cash trade deal for a 3.0 copy that I still have? Have about the same into that one that I got out of selling the first two. But I did upgrade ?
  11. No trade. Buy a hulk 181 later when you want. Good luck finding the supes again at a price someone wants to sell it at and you want to buy it.
  12. They are probably not thinking they want to advance the cause of cutting up issues. if I had an original AF15 stripped logo to sell, having it slabbed might make a buyer more comfortable in grabbing it for a restoration project but I don't really think we need cgc to authenticate any and all things comic related ?
  13. I've seen scrap books of cut out character images including flash from showcase 4 slabbing those would be interesting but I'm not sure any real value in doing so. I could see panels of key issues like action 1 but how far do you break it down to the point any real comic book intrinsic value remains.
  14. I see conserved in the same way I see restored and even if I'm aware of it any blue label books that had restoration scraped away. Pay what you want but they are all books that have been worked on. And they all have their place. GA?
  15. I like the solid vg for reading and the 7.0+ for collecting in general
  16. Date stamps are history and make the book more interesting in many cases
  17. With as many boxes as I saw in the photo I was hoping for you ?
  18. Gonna be a bonanza for sure. That's just the extra stuff. Comics have be era and condition ? And he appeared to store it well. Congrats and good luck. Can be a grind to sell some of it but well worth it ??
  19. Just looking to sell a couple of solid runs of Kirby goodness to the discerning collector/dealer. $275 shipped in USA for the 27 books. Post the sign Demon 1-16 Forever People 1-11 happy to send more pics but just looking to move these from a recent collection. ?
