  1. I want to thank Socratic Wonder for getting this dream book into my hands safely. It's a 4.5 sitting in a 4.0 holder and this book has a LOT of history behind it. One of my favorite Marvel Mystery books and I now own all of my favorite MMC covers in the run. The rest is just gravy. Thanks R!
  2. He probably took a muscle relaxant then all of a sudden that turd dropped out! I guess somebody has to clean up.
  3. Boy you guys are smart. It took me and Ritters forever to figure it out.
  4. Great book Steve! One of my faves as well!So Stephen Ritter and I were having a discussion in Detroit. Can you guys figure out what the story is behind that cover of MMC #7? What is actually going on there? If we talked about this in Detroit gang, don't let the cat out of the bag. :popcorn:R.

  6. This my friends proves that it takes a good criminal mind to make a great lawyer. (just going easy on you cause you're one day older today)
  7. That was the first thing that caught my eye when I got the book in hand. I am a big fan of date stamps and I don't ever remember seeing one earlier than this.Imagine, this book was dropped on some newstand somewhere while countries were waging battle across the ocean. As someone else mentioned, this was also the first small book of the run so paper and steel drives where also in place. Pretty cool!R.

  11. You know, Batman #1 over Action #1 initially...but there are qutie a few Batman #1's going around. What opportunity will anyone have to buy an Action? I think the initial appeal is with the Bats...long term? not so sure. R.
  12. Recent aquisition of one of my favorite covers. Yeah it is a later Schomburg so it's not really within my focus but something about this cover grabs me...lots of primary colors, focused action with the circle of heros fighting outward. Just really well done.
  13. Yeah, but did he respect you in the morning? he faked it in the hope my son and i didn't completely bury him with lsu gear every time he turned around. Sweet pickups, man. Very sweet. Also happy to see a #9 feather back in your cap.
  14. If I bought the Batman I would ALWAYS regret not taking the Action #1. No brainer IMO, resto or not. R.
