Great report Tony, Thanks for posting it. That Sensation #13 is I've been after that one for years. And that Fantastic... well the title of the book says it all. I can't recall ever seeing one for sale. Hey, even the "girly man" "love books" aren't too bad either. Looks like you had fun!

I have filed for a chargeback. I don’t take him to be a rip off. These were pretty cheap books. He is usually pretty slow in paying up when he buys from me but always comes through. I take it very seriously when someone sends me money for something. I think he is probably having a problem. Things happen in life sometimes. I would suggest everyone file for a chargeback.

Fight 37 is a gem from cover to cover. Some books have great covers and mediocre interiors, but Fight 37 is a gem from cover to cover.
As are most of those #30s. Why do you think they rarely turn up? Maybe, book for book, my favorite Friction House run...

Mailman brought me one I've been after for years. This one always seems to go to the moon when ever one comes up for sale. This time, I just decided to bite the bullet and grab it. Glad I did. The photo doesn't do it justice. Very deep, rich color on this copy.
Outstanding cover by Bill Everett featuring what I think was an homage to Bill Gaines and Al Feldstein. Had to have it!

Jeeze Mike, you are a lucky man! Cruising the Italian coast with a hot blonde, eating well and even buying some cool books at the same time... I want to be you when I grow up!
By, the way, even though I'm not jet setting today, I consider myself a VERY lucky man as well.
Love the books. Especially the Capt. Flight #5. I luckily got mine back when it was "Capt. Who?". Here's mine as well as another what I call a "weird machine cover"

And oh yes, I've kicked people out of my booth more than once. Usually, very rude or whiney folks that try to explain to me why my "price is too high". Usually waving a cell phone with an ebay auction on it. I can deal with that but if you are rude, abusive or whiney, I want you gone. I've never had to get physical but I have called security a couple of times for the real stubborn ones.
I often have to explain that the item in question is junk and that they are right. It isn't worth anything especially my "lofty" price. It is stuff people threw away. If they don't believe me, take it to 7-11 and see if they will give you a carton of milk for it. It is only worth money to crazy people like us...

A guy that I work with recently scored in one of those "box lots" at a con. $10. for a "mystery box". He got a very high grade Black Cat Mystery #50. He was actually disappointed that he didn't get an autographed/slabbed Stan Lee book until I told him what he got. He is a SA guy that knows nothing about GA. Sucks to be honest sometimes. I could have probably traded him some X-Men and a Stan autographed book for it. Now he has dollar signs and "stars" in his eyes...

Bob,I've looked and looked for my other complete copy until my heart breaks. If I ever find it again, you can just have it.I think someone 'lost' it on me.
Thanks so much Jimmers. I know you mean it and I really appreciate it. To be honest, I've pretty much given up hope on that one. And, you know, I'm OK with it. It really isn't one of my favorite covers anyway. I've always got my fingers in a lot of pots and who knows. I know I won't pay Misfits money for one.

your missing one issue
Oops, you are right. I have a Northland copy of it in one of my pedigree boxes. Looks like I will have to dig it out and reshoot this photo.
I'll pound you to a "Pulp" if you don't show off yours!
