Just back from CGC. I noticed they don’t state ‘Double Cover’ in bold anywhere now. They used to state it both on the front center label and on top of the slab (where it now reads ‘Newsstand’ on the MTU 100). Now it looks like the fine print is the only way to identify them.
Yea I really don't like that, they could go back to putting Double Cover on the Right side of the label or at the very least put it on the top of the slab so it matches all my other Double Cover Slabs.

The Miswrap Game Round 3
Well no one guessed the last one which comic was attached to the Marvel Premiere #15 back cover and I did not ever figure it out myself so I guess that it was either just too hard, or no one cared to play. I am going to tell myself it was just too hard and if anyone cares I will post up another Comic Book and see if anyone can guess this one, I don't know what it is yet but I will also be looking for the answer.

I also had a subscription to ASM, beginning with issue #169. I remember the ads in the comics for subscriptions said "all titles mailed flat". I was 10 years old at the time so never really understood what that meant until years later. So I think I just missed the folded subscriptions. Still have all mine to this day. Most I read once and put away, so for the most part they are in nice condition. There are a few that had some mail damage...
That is Cool my first Subscription copy of ASM was #166 and I was also 10 at the time and it came flat in a brown paper sleeve so I missed the folded Sub copies also. Does anyone on here know when Marvel switched from folded to flat Subscription copies?

I seen those and I am guessing that maybe you are the one who bought the CGC 9.8 #257 that was just on ebay? I do have multiples of both #257 & 361 but I don't have the 2nd print one so that would be something I would trade for if you are open to trades.

Not really sure, I have been collecting them for like 22 years, I know I have 3 Long Boxes full and a bunch of Slabs so yea hundreds is a good guess. ASM Double Covers is what I really collect and I am always looking to trade for ones that I don't have.

Not mine (wish it was) but this one sold on ebay not that long ago and it also has the problem with a chunk out of the top Left edge of the inside cover that extends to the back inner cover, I have seen this problem a lot of Silver Age Marvel Double Covers and would also like to know why.

Hey @cosmic-spider-man, nice to have you over here Terry!
Hey Reggie, This is my favorite thread on the boards I check it out often. ASM #151 was the first issue I ever bought and it is so cool to know Ross Andru's Art was based on real places, love the photos of the Incinerator.
