I'd also point out a lot of value comes from film/tv speculation and hype. Venom is now on his second movie, so the majority of that is passed. Those that want it will be the diehard collectors vs the speculators. That all being said, I don't see them losing much value, but I also don't see it gaining much in the near future. One any book hits the 4 digit mark, you've priced out 99% of collectors.

Montez Foil B is out on the census, and it's... not good. Anyone who promised 9.8s on these for presale is going to be screwed. Also, how in the world do you send in 9.0s when it's a 500 print run?! I believe the tracking scan is geotagged too, so they should be able to verify if it was delivered to the right house or not.

F is the non foil. The only virgin cover variant I see is a store exclusive. That one had a SS option from the artist.

I suspect that the Montes foils are holding things up seeing as they aren't on the census. Probably those that got both are not getting them shipped until both arrive.

Yeah those numbers do not look great. 15 9.8s, 7 9.6s, 2 9.4s and 1 7.5 (wtf). I'm also confused why only one of the foils is on the census and not the other. Has me scared what I'm about to get back. I feel like if you got 500 copies to pick from, there's really no excuse to get anything lower than 1-2 9.6s.

I want to say her last signing back in late 2017 at one of the cons was $250. Seems like once you factor in the grading fees and whatnot, CGC is taking a $100 cut per book.

Out of curiosity, did you have a Pre-screen on it? I could see them using that as a justification to upcharge. If you believe it's a 9.8, then the value is potentially greater.

It's certainly not a good looking book, but it might be in the 9.2 range. Marvel has done a terrible job at the print run for a lot of these exclusives. Seems like a lot of these have had similar issues that I've seen.

Man those people are going to be pissed when they find out Disney printed out a ton of those copies for cast members and are now letting them go back for seconds.

CGC shouldn't grade it any different unless it's from sun damage. If you're trying to sell it, I doubt you'd see much a premium. If you compare lots of books, there's always copies of books with slight color variations. That's pretty normal.

If I recall Sylvie was made by Loki, so sort of? I assume we will know in a week or two which way they are going with it.

I have both so I win either way, but I think Thor 5 still has value. We definitely know there's tons of Loki variants out there. Even if this variant is not "Female Loki", there's no reason we won't see one in the future. I mean at some point Hiddleston is going to step away from the role. Seems like a likely recasting choice down the road if/when that happens. Dont forget Star Wars cast a "Mara" to throw people off the trail. No reason Sylvie can't be either.
