CGC won’t have anything to do with the scheduling
you’d be better off reaching out to Celebrity Authentics
also, there is another existing thread about this
and yes it sucks to be left in the dark when someone else is holding your collectible(s) -

Would be nice if we weren't charged before the date is even set up. Don't get that really. And if it is going to be that way it should be made clear.
- Books will be received into the CGC system when they arrive and will be safely stored by CGC until the event. (Please note: Payments are processed as they normally are at the time of the collectibles’ arrival at CGC.)

really happy with how this looks, sure would have liked the extra .2 but didn’t expect it
also in hindsight probably should have asked for the sig in orange, that would have probably popped
funny how someone who can make such amazing art has such an ordinary sig

That's bold! It's favored I hear!
So it wasn't an option, and just happen to work out! Man I wonder if that would work with Campbell
I think you are confused
AH! remarques definitely were offered
Ron C is saying he sent in the blank sketch cover because he paid for it
Hughes didn’t just do it out of his kind heart

I often wonder if they do pressing sometimes
I often wonder if the "after" are after CGC opens your submission and "before" pics are before CGC slabs your book

from the Thomas guest column .....
QuoteWithout Stan Lee, there might have been some good stories … some splendid art … but it’s highly unlike that there would have an overarching Marvel Universe.
was Lee not the first to come up with the editor footnotes/annotations referencing other events/appearances/flashbacks etc as well as speaking directly to the reader as well as giving printed flattering nicknames and call outs to the bullpen and such
if so I 100% agree with that quote

At least it shipped, hope it comes back done well. I'm hoping to see some pics of these sigs eventually
I'm curious what books people chose
I'd have chose Harley Quinn 1999, but that may be so old hat as I haven't heard it mentioned anywhere in a long time.
Marvels #3 (Surfer cover)
was between that or #4 (Spidey cover) but there was a fingerprint on that acetate that wasn’t coming out

Ross book moved to GEI today
Ross book show shipped but with tomorrow’s date
6/27/23
never saw it go to QC status, given what I’ve seen and experienced from QC I shouldn’t be surprised -

Ross signed starting the last week of Mayestimated turnaround time for grading (no press) is 6 weeks
they are still within that window
it matters not when you sent the book in

we would ship to our neighbors to the north but we don't want to get blamed for our books smelling like smoke when they get to you

Comics have been graded - can I resubmit w pressing
in Newbie Comic Collecting Questions
Posted
before you rush into anything, I would suggest taking pictures of your slabs (front and back) and post those pics in the following sub-forum >>>> https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/
yes, the inside of the book will not be visible but more schooled members here can observe and see if they see pressable defects and can potentially gain insight from grader notes tied to the submission number
if it is determined, pressing/cleaning, etc may get you a grade bump (always the chance for the opposite) you should weigh that against what the additional cost of that will be and what your intention is for the books in the future
if you do decide to go forward I would seek out a respected pressing service that is going to give your books attention they may deserve … in my limited experience CGC Pressing (formally CCS) has not been that solution that I would confidently recommend to anyone other than needing the most minimal done
best of luck in whatever you decide
