  1. Jim Lee SS book delivered today wish maybe it was done in a different color as the sig kind of gets lost in the image but I wanted it to look like his sig was floating above Mag's outstretched hand and of course CGC threw in the chest sized Newton Rings free of charge (along with a couple large scratches to the slab)

  3. fuzzy indeed, the signing was not limited to Spawn books only https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/7862/
  4. shipped today that was a pretty quick turnaround I'd say
  5. pretty sure this was changed with their 6/8/22 announcement https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/10271/member-credit-update/
  6. I wouldn't say you don't need to do anything (aside from pack and paperwork) Sig Series events do have requirements one important one being labeling the box you package/send with the artist's initials I would start by pulling up the event announcement page and follow the submission instructions as well as those you get when you print the docs after filling out the online form from there you can follow up with the board or customer service with anything that may be unclear another thing to keep in mind, you may also want to send your own window bag with the book so they can use when they crack it out if there is a specific spot you want the sig to be on the book you'll likely have to approximate since the window bag would be from eyeballing where the area is on the slabbed book
  7. of course this has happened you are having a book that can get damaged in transit, damaged when cracked out by CGC, damaged when handled by the CGC staff and the signer, etc. you also in all certainty are having a book graded by someone other than the original grader(s) and we know consistency has sometimes been an issue the book's condition may have also naturally changed since first graded (ex. sun/light exposure) there is always going to be a good chance the book comes back a different grade ... maybe yours will come back a 9.9
  8. inflation, the price of ink has skyrocketed in all seriousness, I know Todd's time is worth money and that he spends full days at CGC's facility signing but I'm sure he is treated pretty well $120 up from $89 from the 2020 CGC private signing seems a bit much someone will be making bank on this
  9. no, it was officially announced today https://www.cgccomics.com/news/article/10592/Todd-McFarlane-Signing/
  10. in the Ask CGC sub-forum, it has been stated by reps that it needs to be reported within 2 weeks of receiving the book back that would be for a free re-holder ... you are still of course able to pay to have a book re-holdered if you buy on the secondary market, I don't know that you can claim a free mechanical error re-holder even if you are within the 2 week windows since it technically wasn't your initial submission (I could be wrong)
  11. Jim Lee submission moved to SFG today this had a CCS press on the order as well
  12. pretty sure the upcoming event is her first Sig Series event with CGC if successful I'm sure you will see more
  13. this would be the sub-forum for best traction to post your inquiry ….. https://boards.cgccomics.com/forum/42-hey-buddy-can-you-spare-a-grade/
  14. one thing that bothers me though is while this graded a 9.0 (CCS pressed) the grader notes only indicate a single flaw (one of which I cannot even see on the book) Grader Notes:slice in top staple area back cover additional pics of back, after and before slabbing
  15. is that comment to me? if so, why would I get it reslabbed? fyi, to anyone wondering, per CGC's social media today was the 3rd and final day of their Lee/Williams/Sinclair in house signing
  16. nice books, yeah that 121 makes no sense in both that missing page quality or why CC would have just signed that one in pen and not marker like the rest ... unfortunate
