I don't know if anyone else saw this resemblance, but the scene where Damian Dark's face is looming over the tiny Ray Palmer trapped inside the glass case, it almost looks like the cover of Atom #1 where the mad scientists who controls plants is watching Atom get eaten by a Venus Fly trap. The actor who plays Damian really resembles the face Gil Kane drew on the cover. Probably just a coincidence but I wondered if anyone else thought this.

Precisely what I thought when I saw him do that - yay, they're finally getting it! I also thought it was cool how Zoom dragged him around like a rag doll. It shows they can portray a powerful speedster when they want to!

Yeah, I find the writing on the show is hit and miss. They do a lot of little things very well- like the new Wells, or Zoom's personalities. I loved watching Zoom parade Barry around to the masses. I enjoy the show by focusing on the little things. Some stuff- unfortunately some of the bigger things- are borderline retarded. Like another poster mentioned- RF erased from existence but leaving his acts behind (like Barrys moms death). If he never existed, all the ramifications should be gone. The "singularity" nonsense is another imo. Like you said- a couple episodes ago Flash vs Dr Light was completely frustrating in its bad writing. You have to wonder how an entire group of writers/producer/director could miss this. Neither Jay nor Barry could figure out how to beat her? Before she could raise her hand one cm towards Barry, he could easily have run back and around the train, coming up behind her and stopping her. There is suspension of disbelief (even taking it less serious due to being a "comic book show") and then there is just really poor writing. I'm sure (for a team of people whos job it is to do this)- they could have come up with a more plausible way to handle that fight while showcasing Dr Lights powers/danger. I too share some of your frustrations - but it's still my favorite show next to Arrow. I do wish they'd make Barry a bit more formidable of a fighter and have him start to really exploit the powers and abilities the Flash had back in the comics. The plot holes are frustrating but I still revel in seeing so many wonderful superheroes and villains brought to life. Yay Grodd!!!!

Yeah, I think (you're both) right, lots of wear for a 6.0, I don't think we'll get much of a reading off this particular book - but then again if it spikes we can imagine what a "good" specimen of the grade would go for.

SC22 will probably double overnight... Once the movie or a film includes lantern as one of the main characters. I agree, this will just ignite SC22. Let's not forget - I did - how many times Ferris air and even Hal Jordan's name have occurred in the Flash TV show. It'd be nuts if they also brought GL into that universe - as they are doing with Flash - who is also appearing in the JLA movie.

True. And not to toot my horn it looks a heck of a lot nicer than the one Heritage has for sale here. Those color-breaking creases near the spine are a bit severe. I forgot about them - that might effect the results for sure. I guess we'll see.

Absolutely! I bought my 6.0 at the high point and it's taken this long for anyone to be brave enough to test the waters with a higher grades copy. Most you see for the longest time are 3.0 - 4.5's. This book deserves more respect than its been getting the last few years. It's going to be interesting to see where this ends up. $1k a point maybe?

Yeah, Iris is the worst part of this show. She's such a bad actor. Similar to Laurel Lance on Arrow. She wouldn't be all that bad if they used her sparingly, but the heartbroken Barry stuff is getting old and the neverending drama that surrounds Iris is just over the top unnecessary. More superhero stuff, less General Hospital/Days of Our Lives nonsense FTW! Not to be a pain, but maybe I should point out that we've had Weather Wizard, Captain Cold, Grodd, Professor Zoom, Heatwave, Firestorm, Atom and more when you count the Arrow crossovers - and were ONLY in the second episode of the 2nd season - so it's not exactly like they are sandbagging, when it comes to "more superhero stuff". Is it possible we've been spoiled a little, huh?

I mean how great is that? A superhero that survives cancellation and is resurrected on another channel to save the soul of another resurrected being. Just awesome! I hope he sticks around, I loved the show and was sad it was dropped. Kudos to CW!

The teaser for next week, both in its final graphic, and in what it showed, seemed like it would be exclusively featuring: May, Bobbi, and Hunter It would be pretty cool if they had several episodes in a row focusing only on specific characters, as this one was essentially a "Gemma" episode. It would make for a fun way to really flesh out side stories, if going forward, every so often they have these solo episodes. And they are also great characters that make you want to see what they'll do next. Daisy is actually the least interesting to me. But I like her just the same and I get the sense that have plans for her character.

I also noticed the boobage flaunting by Daisy. It's a little weird but not entirely unpleasant

Totally agree - very good episode and very entertaining. Gemma was terrific in this show! They've really improved this show since it's slow start. I look forward to seeing it weekly.

True! MAOS has IMHO gotten really good. I do hope they control themselves with all the family strife on Flash and stick with telling a superhero tale. But I love the show regardless!
