  1. Just wondering, are you talking about the 8.0 on ebay or another?
  2. Anyone catch that Showcase #24 6.5 OW/W Winnipeg pedigree that sold on Comiclink for $875? I was tempted, but I think the price it sold for was a little high for a 6.5. But I also don't know much about the Winnipeg ped, so maybe it was a good deal.
  3. The SC #4 in ComicCollect's Event Auction looks decent. Old-style CGC label 4.0 with cream to off-white pages.
  4. That'd make the difference.
  5. Looks as though that 4.5 ended up in some lucky hands.
  6. I guess my thrill-bids will get cancelled if someone antes up the $28K asking price in the BIN listing
  7. I certainly hope is a long time really, a great effort and resource.
  8. Not many 6.0's coming up for sale these days. I wonder if the convention scene is a better place to find mid-to-higher-grade DC keys?
  9. Huh, seller has 2 of them http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=200584934780&category=32732&_trksid=p5197.c0.m619#ht_500wt_962 . . . . or listed the same one twice

  13. That's what I've been noticing. Glad I got that 6.0 when I did
  14. This book has been quietly creeping upward. Here one that looks pretty decent for the grade. http://www.comiclink.com/itemdetail.asp?id=882760

  16. No, but soon I hope to . . . that is if I can land any of the WW #2, 3, 6, 11, 12, 14 or 15 "D' copies I will.
  17. Glad to bring another into the fold I realized the other day, had I kept my dupes I could have had nearly 2 sets of WW 1-20. 1, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19 and 20. But it's better to share the love

  19. Hi george In a word, nope Hey Bob Always great to see you. Ditto buddy! Haven't seen you in a while
  20. I have to agree. It also made for a great rivalry between collectors of the brands I remember long debates on whether Superman could lick Hulk
  21. Take solace the "zombies" don't eat DC's and drive the prices higher.
