So who's trying to view the VCC on a dial-up line?

 

I'm assuming most of us have DSL or Cable Modem access to the Internet.

I think the straight 48 hour VCC is a good idea actually.

 

Also, for next time, we're going to heavily advertise it outside the boards. Maybe CBG's events listing, comicbookconventions.com, etc. so we'll need to set a date that we can propagate around the Internet.

 

So if you're interested in doing some marketing efforts, let us know and we'll get you onto our super secret VCC Committee list.

It's OK other than slow.

Waiting for 100s of pics per page to load takes time.

Thank goodness they are all thumbs now.

Back in the first one people were putting up full size scans in their threads.

There were a couple of books that I wanted to buy, but with the show being so colse to Chicago and then Baltimore in 3 weeks, I am trying to be really selective on what I buy.

I did buy a sweet GL 81 9.4 before the show and am working on a cash/trade for another book.
