I bought a comic collection and found this book in the collection.  I'm not familiar with pulp magazines and was wondering if anyone can provide some info on this book. Is it a variant of sort as the photos I found online don't have the bottom part that states "Now 10c Per Copy Everywhere"

My guess is it's the Canadian edition.

Canadian edition was my guess as well.  Lots of them were slightly taller than the US versions, so they had room for the extra text band without rearranging the rest of the cover elements.

As others say, it could be a Canadian edition. If so, the fine print at the bottom of the table of contents will mention Toronto or some other place in Canada.
And the ads, if there are any will be Canadian companies.

The Canadian edition price in 1945 was 15c while the US edition was 10c. So this is likely Canadian.

This finally came in yesterday. I would absolutely love to get my hands on a nicer copy, if anybody could point me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it. Ward's first Paris Gayety cover, and one of his all time best to me. Really need an upgrade...

The good news is that you've got two different chances to find this cover.  Besides its first appearance, it also appeared on the February 1937 issue of Paris Gayety.  However, while I've had a few copies of the December 1934 issue over the years, I've only been able to find one copy of the 2/37 issue.

I'm good either way. By the way, how do you feel about that December copy since it's less scarce? It looks nicer than mine... PM sent.
