During the period from the end of 1932 to mid-1934, Enoch Bolles did a series of covers for the spicy pulps, Bedtime Stories and its sister publication, Tattle Tales.  According to ads inside, many of these illustrations were available as prints, but I've never seen those.

I went to Mexico when I was 15 and it wasn't too far off from this.  As an adult, much more disappointing.

Finally obtained a copy of the 3rd and last of the "Army Romances" series to complete my set. Bondage/whipping cover art by Warren King. King also did the cover to #2. Alex Schomburg did the cover to #1.

Showing a few of Kings eerie interiors as well. I think he did all the art in this issue.

Yes, they are very skinny, stapled digests. I had never seen them before. The first one I got was the Schomburg cover, when I saw it I had to win it. Then of course my OCD set in and had to find the other two. I've won 3 out of the 4 copies of any of them that I've seen for sale in the last 2 years. I lost out on a spectacular copy of #3 that someone was willing to go to the moon for (and they did) so still looking to upgrade this #3 but it ain't easy and just glad I got one.

They are in Bookery's Pulp guide (complete listing) and in Warren's PB Guide (incompletely listed)
