Interesting.  I don't think I've seen one with a registration quite like that.  The bottom line of the "4" in "84" from his signature is cut off and there's a black bar along the top.  If you have the copy handy, I'd be interested to know the dimensions of your copy.  Here's mine for comparison.

Hey All, I can’t believe I waited so long to post this, but NYCC was a dream come true this year. I knew Quentin Eastman was going to be at NYCC and going to the Metropolis Comics booth, and as I walked up there I saw Kevin and Quentin. Vinny was great and patient with me as I hung with them. I had a smile from ear to ear. I had brought a couple Kamandis for Kevin, and he loved them. He was genuinely thankful and that made me so happy. 
 

Kevin and Quentin signed my low grade 3rd print #1 and talked about the history and how it all began. I was in Turtle Heaven. I also got to speak with Tom Waltz. Quentin was so humble and a fantastic guy. We spoke about passion for the things we love and he brought up how Kevin and Peter never stopped working during the early years. He said when your passionate, goodness eventually flows from it. I couldn’t agree more. I then saw Kevin at the IDW Last Ronin signing. The team was great. It was a Turtle-riffic day. I also met RL Stine and Tim Jacobus which was awesome!

Added these this week from a fellow boardie - only 8 issues left to complete my TMNT Vol. 1 run (caveat being - my #1 is a 4th print, #2 is a 3rd print and Raphael one-shot is a 2nd print).

Those are super cool!  I don't say this much about TMNT stuff, but I've never seen these before!  I'm going to have to keep my eyes open for them.  Thanks for posting!

Keep an eye out for issue 3 as well. The cover art is Raph carving a pumpkin sitting in front of some monsters. Does anyone know if there was an issue 4 and beyond?

There was no issue beyond #3.

Still 8 issues left to complete my Vol. 1 run - I wasn't counting this since I had a 2nd print. But when you find a #5 1st print (which I didn't already have) in decent condition for $15, you grab it:

I sent this and one other book back to be reslabbed due to case damage.  Unfortunately, CGC sent me back the wrong books and so far has been unable to locate my books.  :frown:

Are you serious?  They sent you back the wrong books?  Just hard to believe how bad CGC has gotten. I had to send back all of my books from the Last Ronin signing due to case issues but at least I got the same ones back.  LOL 

But, can you imagine if you sent in a TMNT #1 and you got back a different book?  :ohnoez:

Like the time I sent in a dual signed ASM 50 (Sr and Lee) and got back ASM 278 blue label?

Hi guys. A little over 2 years ago, I decided to try and collect the TMNT Vol. 1 run in CGC 9.8, excluding #1 of course. All first print.

#1 - 7.0

#2 - #62 - 9.8

 

I just received the last book I needed to finish the run, the ever elusive #13. After several years of looking all over the place to piece my collection together, it feels weird to be "done".

 

I just wanted to thank the board members here that helped me here on these boards with advice, some books and just generally have a good time in my hunt. 

Now to figure out what's next to collect. 😀
