Yesterday at a yard sale. X-force is still sealed with the Deadpool card. Only really needed turtles, but the price was right on the others.

Paid $63 for all of these at an estate sale. I was amazed by the sheer amount of hopeful buyers who showed up to this particular sale. Too many for my liking. These sales become reunions and who’s who’s of each hobby

Had to go shopping for serious stuff but waddayaknow theres a local video game shop selling used and new stuff had to stop and see take a break from reality found those so it brighten my day a bitsome keepers there even an elusive captain comic! From color Dreams Inc that did not go trough nintendo liscensing.that one need a serious cleanup but doable seen worst!

Picked up about 850 books  at a couple of yard sales this weekend.  The first, and largest, group came from a guy who had taken the books "in lieu of" payment for some work he'd done for somebody in town.  Didn't know anything about comics, so we had a lot in common. Lots and lots of Modern stuff I've never heard of, and some I had.  Amazingly good condition, all things considered.  Included my first double cover (New Teen Titans #25).  Cheap.

Today's haul was from a couple moving to the Midwest after landing a new job there.  Just a single long box, but some interesting stuff a little more my speed.  Lots of X-Men.  Some unfortunate damage to the few Silver books he had, and a pretty trashed Avengers 196.  Also a cool Thor movie bumper sticker, something I've never seen before.  Also cheap.

No game changers, but a fun weekend.

It suggests "Major Inapak the Space Ace ~ Magazine Enterprises (ME), 1951. Lovely science fiction art by Bob Powell. This comic book begs the question, how many copies does it take to destroy the value of a golden age comic? Major Inapak was on the way to being a moderately valuable title before thousands of copies were discovered sometime in the 1970s. Copies in the warehouse find were all uncirculated but some had been stacked while the ink was still wet leading to some minor transfer."

And the Digital Comic Museum ( https://digitalcomicmuseum.com/?dlid=17594 ) suggests "One thing it is not is rare. Apparently, a warehouse full of them was found, and a copy can be obtained relatively cheaply."
