First post in awhile, not buying much these days - I'm actually about to post a long box of stuff to bulk out (with a bunch of $5 and $10 books tossed in), but I do keep my eye out there for buys....

scooped this up yesterday; found in a closet of a home a family member is selling on behalf of their deceased dad.  The son is a collector from another city, so he is knowledgeable about comics, but was happy I offered him more than what he was asking on this lot....Not that he needs the money, that house of his dad's will sell in the seven figures (unfortunately he had listed the home with a different Realtor before I got there)......side ramble, here they are - about $2/pop (#1 is very low grade).

Popped in to a client's home to pickup the leftover comic scraps their sons didn't want - I said I'd give them a good home.  Added another pile of bulk I'm going to dump on someone, but I kept these aside....

Some results of what turned out to be a pretty disappointing moving sale well out of town.  A lot of what looked to me like cool 50's War books (which I don't collect) and then a jump to mostly 80s books with a few Silver and Bronze.  Not a single ASM, Thor, X-Men.

I'm sure it's not worth anything, but the cover was cool.  However, the tag on the back read "scarce."  I think there were 3 or 4 copies.

I think this one was a massive warehouse find, which is why it hasn't risen much.

That makes sense, honestly. And explains were there are not just quite a few copies available, but fairly nice ones at that.

Yeah, I picked one up in the Dollar Bin a few years ago.  Think I sold it for $5.   Take that Bitcoin!

I picked one up a long time ago and it is in great shape.  So good I thought it was a repo until I looked it up.

some cows that could shoot 6 shooters really well....

man we had so many cartoons  

and one's I haven't thought about in a very long time

After a quick look through the long box These were also in there. Diving back in tomorrow.

All from the same garage sale - I think the second one is an internal DC style guide.  The third one was the big surprise - when I got home and took a closer look, it turned out to be a Jim Lee signed giclee print limited to 150 - not bad for $2!
