Tick Trivia:

Galactic Tick Day fell on September 29, 2016 this year. Next Galactic Tick Day will be on June 26, 2018.

Our planet Earth, along with the rest of the Solar System travels around the galactic center of the Milky Way Galaxy every 225 million Earth years.

One centi-arcsecond of this rotation is called a Galactic Tick. A Galactic Tick happens every 633.7 days, or 1.7361 years1.

Galactic Tick Day is set aside to acknowledge our Sun's motion, our progress around the home galaxy, and to celebrate humanity's knowledge of this motion.

That's funny because it starts with a "rough estimate" of 225million years (82,125,000,000 days)... then it's calculated to down to 0.7 of a single day. lol

Yep, it's 16.8 hours... with an error margin of a few years either way.

Just an advertisement that came in the case of The Tick POGS for The World POG Federation Dealers advertising the New Blister Pack and Foil Pack alternatives.

The Tick...he's blue and now this loveable, laughable crime fighter comes in his own special pack of POG brand milkcaps. The series includes 60 dynamic milkcap designs and 12 kini designs. The World POG Federation packs quality and collectibility into every product.
