great looking books.Hard to understand that a 9.4 is just "filing a hole". For me filing a hole means that the copy is acceptable, but I would be looking for an upgrade it that became available. For my Four Color Trades I have taken books that are 1.0 to fill a hole

anyway here are a couple more early SA Adventures

Those are really cool books and rarely seen especially the 245. Ever want to sell, please LMK.

You have a great collection of 1950s DC.

Picked up this nice raw copy of #316. Sent it into CGC already, hoping for a 9.2 - 9.4 grade.

Just picked this up. Thinking about having it graded, although it looks awfully good in Mylite.

Oh man! Both those comics look great although the #342 looks to be the whiter one.

:)

Myself though I don't have either. I wish I could find the Adventure Comics I still need in that kind of grade.

Those are some beautiful books! So difficult to find in the condition you have them in. Will these stay raw or get graded?

I got a hold of this ADV 211 recently. It was an incredibly tough issue to find. Completed my 1955 run of Adventure issues except for 210.

Don't worry Superboy, once you hit puberty your threeway dreams will get better.

Another favorite from 1955...

Adventure #217 was reprinted in Superboy Giant #156 - which likely is where most of us read this interesting tale. In fact, part one is intriguing whereas part two, from Adventure #218 or the same Superboy giant is disappointing. In my opinion, of course!

A true Silver Age classic is the doomsday scenario tale of the Suneater, filling both Adventure #352 and #353.

#352 was the very first CGC 9.6 book I ever bought. Far more accessible in high grade than #353.

The teasing conclusion to #352:

Here is the dramatic splashpage to #353:

The moment that would torture Superboy in following issues. Was this a moment of weakness or fear that caused him to be overpowered? Could he have taken Ferro Lad's place?

It was over ten years after buying my #352 that I finally acquired a #353 in CGC 9.6. The book came from the small location of Aurora, Utah, which is a place I had driven through, never knowing one of my grail books was dwelling therein.
