It popped in my head one day to try out a commission theme based on the Iron Maiden 'Killers' album, which is my be-all-end-all favorite Maiden album cover, not to mention, I thought my idea would translate pretty interestingly as a homage. The gist of it is a female character as "Eddie" and someone close to the character (when applicable) as the "Victim" - Dark Phoenix has Cyclops as the victim, Harley Quinn has the Joker, Psylocke has Matsuo, and the others are just kind of generic victims. Here's the ones I've gotten so far, still waiting on Jason Johnson (Lady Deathstrike), Dan Parent (Betty) and Bisley (Vampirella). Had the chance to meet him in person at Wondercon this year, and just an overall nice artist. Set up a commission for pick up at Ontario Comic Con Revolution in May. Asked Josh to homage one of my favorite David Finch covers from Messiah Complex, but with Madelyne over a defeated Xmen team from the inferno era (rather than lady deathstrike). It was a great experience working with Josh. Great communication throughout the process and he threw in some extra characters. I bought this commission from J K Woodward for my son's 5th birthday and it's been hanging in his room since November last year. Unfortunately, it was lost in the fire I had in my upstairs. I spoke with JK and he said he would be happy to do another commission for him. I asked him to do a Rafael vs Daredevil and he agreed to do it.
