Have you never read a Cherry comic? While some stories may be more direct then others. There are many that are satirical and or political.

I find the undergrounds are less about boobies than the typical issue of Spider-Man is, and that includes Cherry Poptart.

 

I just find it odd that someone can be fine with a comic where musclemen wearing panties and waifs with triple-d chests in thong leotards wrestling around in a world where genetalia doesn't exist is not creepy, but a comic about sex is.

It's the same argument I hear from people who have never seen Fight Club. They tell me it's a stupid movie about men fighting. Obviously you have not seen the movie nor understand it if you did.

 

What are you talking about? My first date with my future wife was watching Fight Club. Fight Club was about much more than fighting, especially to me. I'm sure the creators of some of these underground comics had some grand ideas about what they were doing. That being said, a lot of these comics just look ridiculous to me. If someone could point me to a place where I can read some of them, then perhaps I will change my mind.

That's fine but to some of us super hero comics look ridiculous. We still manage to not go into a SA thread and express the feeling though. Enjoy what you enjoy and let others do the same (shrug)

Fair enough. I don't see anything ridiculous about the battle between good and evil, which is the foundation for superhero comics in my mind. Seriously, though, where can I look through some of these underground comics? Perhaps I am not giving them enough respect.
