That was what the SS was bring with 2 sigs. One being Kirkman. If they were $300 for the Blue, all of mine would be gone. :P

Whoa, Outcast in relative terms is already pretty common in 9.8. I wonder how high the 9.8 count will go if the show is a hit. Personally I'm not heavily invested having two raw nm+ and 1 9.8 SS Azaceta. And the 9.8 SS I just picked up yesterday at me lcs for a good price.

As a slabbing noob I wonder how the rest of you view this list. Secret Wars 8 for example, would you take this as a sign to go after a 9.8 yourself since it is so popular or as a sign that there are so many already slabbed that it is a bit late to the game on that issue?

I think looking at those numbers can make it seem like there's too many 9.8's, but if you step back and look at the nu.bet of people looking for that book in a 9.8, suddenly 3000 9.8's don't seem like that many.

 

Besides, it doesn't seem to affect the prices too much. Secret wars #8 9.8 is still $100 and above from what I see.

Demand factors in here as well. People are betting on Outcast. They don't have to bet on Secret Wars 8 the demand is already there.
