That X Men gatefold is all over  Ebay for half that cost in NM condition.

They're all his accounts, and the sales are all essentially BINs that likely don't reflect the actual market for the issues.

Even if you want to call a pin-up a first appearance, the C cover that also had the pinup shipped weeks before the Deluxe Gatefold Collector's Edition
