a 9.8 just went up for sale on clink. It looks like a legit 9.8 too....

 

Given the prior 9.8's, this should have graded a 10 purely on principle.

At the rate CGC is rubber stamping 9.8's on this book now, I'll be able to pick up a copy in a year or so for less than the cost of getting it slabbed.

I was wondering that, too. No 9.8s in...10 years? and now all of a sudden there's three? Have the standards of grading for this particular book changed? Is it a conspiracy? Should I be form-fitting a tinfoil hat to keep CGC from reading my mind grapes?

It was never on my radar until this year. I still have a few copies I think are 9.8 worthy. Will submit one soon. Interestingly, both of the 9.8's I received were pulled from dealer stock.
