I was aware it was a modern reprint. But I was missing it for my set. Not so easy to find.

The italian Defenders #4 – ASE #28.

The book originally contained a sticker and a poster, and it usually goes for insane prices when a copy including these surfaces. Here’s how the sticker looked like (I do not ow it):

Last but not least, a forum member just posted on the italian comics forum I belong to the very first actual Batman italian edition, published very likely without permission, in 1945. I had a few (non Batman) issues of this series which I gave to SACentaur (Steve) and RyanH. Publishes a traced (redrawn) version of Detective #29. This is 8 pages and pocket sized, a really poor publication.

 

These are VERY rare.
