I'll have to ask an even stupider question, since I thought that embossed thing would be a stupid question. Joey foiled me by providing information that it wasn't as silly a question as I assumed.

Joey, how many times did you put rocks in the press to eventually learn that they damage the machine?

 

Reminds me of my sister when she was like...3 years old.

She somehow got a giant rock inside the VCR. One that wouldn't fit through the tape slot. It's a mystery to this day.

They are printer's creases. You can press them out, but there will be color loss where the creases used to be as the ink was never applied to the paper where the creases are/were.

 

However, Joey may have more information as I'm not paid to work here, I just volunteer.

How does CGC handle it, does it hurt the overall grade?

 

no deduction below 9.8.

I have plenty of 9.8's with printers/bindery creases like those. Best if they are left as they are (Watsons comments were accurate).
