Not sure if this truly counts but someone posted this a while back.

That's a prestige format book too...crazy. Not sure who Image uses for their printing, but I have to wonder how that could even occur.

When squarebound books were doubled up in the 70s and 80s the outer cover didn't get glued on(makes one wonder how many of these loose extra covers were lost or simply thrown away...)

They're at it again...

"Octuple" cover!

Note that this cover is crumpled at the bottom...somehow it got the damage while the two covers above and below it remained pristine.

Just look at the edge how it feathers...how are people still falling for this spoon? The fake sextuple cover sold for over $400.

Hilariously obvious.

Someone please stop this guy...

I’m fairly new to comics and haven’t stumbled across this interesting variation of book. I have to wonder if I have any more. Are these worth investing a grace into at all? Or is it more of just an interesting/fun find?

Appears to be a "double Cover", which @trademarkcomics may be able to further verify? I'm not as much an expert, or I know my limitations :)

Well, if you compare on analytic sites like GPA, double covers are often way more rare than CGC 9.8s in any specific issue. But, aesthetics still rule the roost over rarity. Nevertheless, I'd take a double cover in CGC 9.4-9.6 over a regular 9.8 any day and twice on Sunday.

So to me they are more investment than fun, but I know I have a lot of fun hunting for them!

Ah, ok. I can see that if there’s value to these people may attempt to counterfeit some. I’d wager this is legit, as it came from my dad’s collection, he probably bought it new. He didn’t buy many comics after the 80s.

its definitely clinging pretty desperately to the bottom staple. Particularly at the front. But it’s still hanging on.

Really cool info. I’m still learning lots every day. Have never heard of double covers and I can see why there’s interest in them.

As with most, provenance plays a big part, you're probably OK. :)

Kudos are the memories most of all, and make what you can of them, Congrats!

Luckily to those who know what to look for(and grading companies like CGC), counterfeit multiple covers are easy to spot. It's the uninitiated who are getting taken by these bums who find multiple copies in dollar bins then create their own, but they'll get theirs eventually(If I have anything to say about it).

The date stamp on the back cover adds to the coolness. One of a kind. Thanks for sharing!!
