Average condition—Near Mint – A few of them have minor reading creases, but the vast majority are newsstand fresh.

 

That’s 106 issues of Alter Ego in total. Been buying them faithfully from my mom & pop LCS since Roy Thomas started back on the title. I truly had honest intentions of reading them all. In the case of about 75%, I never had time to read anything. For the rest, I read an article or 3 and then put them away to be read on a rainy day that never seemed to arrive, but hey, that’s why we’re paying the high mortgage/rent in San Diego. Somebody who gets this would only have to fill in 10 missing issues because the run is up to date (#115 just came out).

They cost me about $6.50 each. All said, total retail value would be about $700- for the Alter Egos alone (not to mention the extra items as mentioned above).

My price: $230 (I’ll pay shipping if in US. If not in US, I'll contribute to a generous chunk of the shipping) and all proceeds go to Fay.

Thank you so much everyone for all the generosity and hard work listing things and mailing them, etc.

 

Our current total of items paid for and cash donations is $16,359

 

Andy is a little tied up right now (yes you can use that Chris ;)so he asked me to post something. He (Andy) has heard from Craig again, and Craig is a little overwhelmed by all the donations. He says that he is uncomfortable accepting any more help, that he is fine now.

 

So we are going to close the thread. Please don't post any more items. We are no longer accepting donations.
