The day Peter Panzerfaust #1 shipped, I climbed on a soapbox & literally sold hundred of them at cover price or below.

 

I'm thrilled for all those fans that got them.

Sure some of the slimey / sharkey CGC guys got multiples, & made straight money.

Who cares.

 

Create.

 

Never look back.

 

Look ahead.

I haven't speculated on anything since the early 90's - for reasons probably obvious from that sentence - but when I read Rat Queens #1-5 last month, I went out and bought like 24 copies of #1.

 

I wasn't really expecting a TV bump, though. I just think this series has legs. It feels very zeitgeisty. And the fans that like it, love it. They are very passionate about it.

 

I still see a few for lower prices on ebay - at least three in the $7 range - but I think there's long term potential regardless of what ends up happening with the TV show, because Rat Queens has something more important going for it: It's good, and real fans actually care about it.

Congrats, and having a 10 month old I can probably say you could add this to your sentence

" and won't be getting any sleep for at least three months or any time to myself for the next year" lol.
