The CGC census shows an 8.0 as the highest and then a 6.5 as second highest. You think this would fall between those two? I honestly don't know Todd. Sometimes I think I really have grading down, and other times I'm just way off. I have to believe it would get at least 7.0-7.5 and I'd hope for higher, but I also wouldn't be surprised if it came back as a 6.5 cause that's been my luck with CGC. Regarding who would get the coverless 7 ... , That's a good question. I'd like to think that I'm big enough to let it go for a fair price. I hope someone would do the same for me with an Archie 8 cover. What does this group think has more value, the cover, or coverless insides? There's an Archie #2 and #6 on the block at CC with a mid-feb start, and #1, #3 (a real nice copy), #4 and #50 on HA with a end of Jan start! At first I thought Quick finally got sick of trying to quadruple the price of his Archie 4 on eBay, but it turns out it's a totally different book. Can't wait to watch the action! The census shows a 7.0 & an 8.5 as the two highest they've graded, so your's is in rarified air. Thanks. I plan to have it graded eventually but not in a hurry. I have a low grade raw #9 to add to the club that I will aim to scan this weekend. Hey Rob I'll stake a claim for having the lowest grade #9.
