asmfan
I think the best mummy covers of all time are Tales to Astonish #8 (don't have but am looking for the right copy) and Tales of Suspense #32 (have a nice VF copy). am curious to see what you post... if it shows up, that is. LordThanos1969
I tried to post the cover to Tales To Astonish #8, but alas, the MSN page that hosts my images is flaky. Tales of Suspense #32 is the beehive cover. Are you talking about Tales To Astonish #31? Journey Into Mystery #61 also has a mummy cover. If you go back to the Atlas comics, the mummy on the cover of Mystic #22 is very impressive.

I've had trouble trying to host things from Yahoo -- they want your visitors to come to Yahoo to see the advertisements, they don't want to allow a link to the image. Nice list. I was thinking about the Mystic 22 (Heath cover) as I was reading the thread. It has one of the most gruesome Joe Maneely stories that I'm aware of , but I haven't yet read them all. Sharkey
You can also go to www.photobucket.com and set up a free account where you can host a ton of pix. You can upload big files and it'll automatically resize them for you. Good luck!
asmfan
oops, sorry there was a typo. I meant TOS 31. TTA #8 is my favorite mummy cover. I have been searching for the right copy for a few months now.
asmfan
after looking it up, I'm not a huge fan of the cover for Mystic #22, but had never seen it before so thanks. and JIM #61 is probably my #3 mummy cover behind TTA#8 and TOS #
Red Hook
You sure you don't mean this? TTA#

asmfan
THAT's definitely what I was thinking of. I get my pre-heroes mixed-up sometimes. I just bought one of those off eBay recently from a guy in London. can't wait for it to arrive. supposed to be VF, but we'll see. as long as it's 6.0 or better I'm happy. Red Hook
Thanks. I purchased of Ebay about two years ago, and the scan was one of my early ones......the contrast is probably pushed a little too much. But it is a nice book, and a fun one to have. LordThanos1969
Keeping on the Egyptian theme, how about this Sphinx cover (this is actually from the Big Apple pedigree, though only a CGC 6.0): Edited March 18, 2005 by LordThanos1969
