Sweet! "20 Million Miles" has always been considered a Sci-Fi collection trophy piece 👍

What a great cover and the story is classic. I had one back when but still looking for my keeper.

The Galaxy digests are great. I think I have most of them that I want. "Seeds of Life" is probably dated but I always loved it! "Killer to Come" is great art!

Sarg, I agree, but also with a different perspective... GGA has kept thousands of books relevant that have become irrelevant otherwise because of their lack of meaning to "modern" readers. Not talking about this "Frankenstein" edition though, it's an exception 🤘

Just picked up this bunch of digests. These early 1940's Skull covers are fun to collect but not easy to find in decent shape. They're all killer but "The Bloody Wig Murders" is new to me. Never seen it before.

Great stuff as usual Pat. I should have gone harder after a copy of "The Thing From Another World" that was auctioned on Ebay last year. I'm afraid the ship may have sailed on that book for me now

Two keepers in...

Been looking for this Harry Whittington Guerilla/Lesbian classic forever and finally found one - the art has never been credited but the faces look a bit like a loose Freeman Elliott to me. Hard to say - he did a few credited pb covers and they were around this time.

 

Landed a nice copy of "The Autumn People" - a tiny corner crease, but no readers crease. I believe I only need one more of the Bradbury Ballantine EC reprints to complete the set

A few items today.  The Perma P236 appears to be very badly sun faded, but it's a cool net effect, and will still be good reading.  The Once and Future King has been on my "I should read this" list for decades at this point, and the movie tie-in cover amused me:

The Once & Future King is a great book you'll enjoy it I am sure.  I have a hardcover edition but I also have this paperback.  The Sword in the Stone is a part of the Once & Future King and it has a chapter excised for some reason. The battle between Merlin and the witch Madame Mim.  The Disney animated film had it.
