I went looking for a cover image at Heritage, but the walk through every Brides in Love they've ever offered was, uh, very short I do like the title design. Qua-Brot
How is this not attributed to Baker? Those are his faces, especially the guy . . . OtherEric, Get Marwood & I and pmpknface

Handful of others i think are as well (Including some credited as such in the Baker 'Bible' Art of Glamour, but not everyone is in agreement. We can only speculate. So to me it actually looks like a swipe of *this* Baker cover... Some details are obviously changed, but some (the angle of the guy's head, the positions of both of his hands, the shifted weight of his legs) seem pretty close to dead-on. And the couple's mouths and the use of funky patterns seem more typical of other romance artists like Colletta than Baker. All that said (whew!), it's a cool cover anyway. I dig it. Colletta's fashion sense (funky patterns, as per Point Five!) was more in tune with the times than Baker's, who was more a 40's type of guy. And two of Colletta's "tells" are how he drew his background elements, clouds and plant life. But the swipe for Romantic Secrets 20 - or homage as I prefer to think of it - from Romantic Marriage 24 is pretty clear. Also remember Baker passed away in August of 1959 and his work output was greatly reduced that year. "...yet it seems at this point, Baker was only doing a routine job, without much attention to detail, possibly on account of his ill health as well as of the meager wages that Colletta was paying him." (Art of Glamour, 2012) So this is the only Charlton cover that made it into the Art of Glamour checklist, as indexed by Alberto Becattini and Jim Vadebonocoeur Jr. For what it's worth, I agree. Romantic Secrets 19 (1/59) - inked by Colletta adamstrange, Microbia, comicnoir and 5 others

Been on my eBay want list for years, only saw one beater pop up and passed. Regret to this day.
