2014 March Madness Comic Grading Tournament - Seeding Round

Good news, everyone! My books shipped. The grading tourney books shouldn't be far behind.

 

And the contest books are somehow tied to your book delivery schedule how? ^^

 

I think they are out back on pallets waiting for CGC to lube up the forklift. :sumo:

 

I remember my books becoming "graded" about the same time as the seeding books were mentioned to have gotten graded. That's how :P

Hey everybody - We have our first and hopefully only hiccup of the Tournament and it's totally on me.

 

The Tournament books were graded on 3/12. Link.

 

Using the CGC Turnaround Time thread, I estimated when the books would be moved to SHIPPED/SAFE and the grades would be available to me. I used that estimation to determine when to start the Tournament and when to end the seeding round. What I failed to take into account was that CGC would be at MegaCon for three days.

 

While grades still must be submitted before Monday at 10p (EST), I won't be able to put together the two brackets until the books move to SHIPPED/SAFE.

 

Again, I'm sorry for this delay. I'll be refreshing my screen like a crack addict to check the status of this invoice.

 

i DO remember it well :P

 

i know my books weren't graded exactly the same day, but it was close enough that i knew once my books were done, these shouldn't be too far off :whee:

It should be in your pm...

 

I'm sure page quality if the books have gone down due to excessive aging. Luckily we don't grade on that

 

Looking through my pm's is how I realized I had graded for the seeding round. lol
