I've picked up all kind of odd-ball books for the show

Hedy of Hollywood #36

VERY nice copies of Happy Days #1 and Krofft Super-Show #1

 

Plus lots of other PCH and my usual 1/2 off Silver and Bronze DC and Marvel

All,

 

Just wanted to drop a line to let everyone know we will be selling supplies at HeroesCon.

 

We will have all sorts of top loader sizes, from comic/magazine top loaders, to photo 8x10's all the way up to 18x24's. We will also have short tubes, long tubes and CGG boxes.

 

We will also have many packs of high quality Mylar and Mylite2 bags/boards.

 

And to kick this show off right, we're going to offer a special to anyone who agrees to purchase before the show.

 

Heroes presale specials (cash only please):

 

725M2s + 700FB: prebuy special = $25

775M2s + 750FB: prebuy special = $30

775Rs + 750FB: prebuy special = $42

 

We can also offer a small discount on comic/magazine top loaders and art/photo top loaders as well.

 

The recent announcement of Stan Lee appearing makes me think we will sell out of many of the items listed.

We will have 10-15 copies of hulk 181

6-10 copies each of Asm 129, Asm 121,122, batman adventure 12, nm98 etc

 

I hope we have stock of virtually all "in demand " bronze /copper books.

 

We will have a nice $15-50 books of newer "keys" and in demand books

 

We will have remnants of an Asm and avg sa/ba run we bought in March

 

Will have a huge $5 variant modern box (1:10,1:15,1:20,1:25 etc)

 

An entire rack of $5 blanks

 

I believe we will have 1-8 copies of all silver age keys (af15,asm1,avg1,bb28,dd1,ff1,hulk1,jim83, sc4,sc22,st110, tos39,xmen1)

 

A nice asst of golden age gems

 

Tons of $1,$2,3/$10,2/$10& $10 books.

 

Just a bunch of cool comics. Come by and see us 1717-1719

I'm not sure Hotflips will be there again this year as I don't see them on the Exhibitor list; unless I missed them. Plus they weren't there last year as they went to WW Philly instead.

I'm trying to think of the last time the weather wasn't hot and muggy for this show...it's been a good couple of years. Then again, I'm coming from Tampa, so Charlotte will feel like a air conditioned resort by comparison.

Time for you to think again....

 

Charlotte may be hotter by a few degrees, but our humidity is in the high 60% range, while you guys are in the 30%s. I'd rather take the few degrees of heat if its drier and leave the humidity behind. Florida will be absolutely miserable by late July.

 

But then again, it really doesn't matter..I plan on walking the show floor for two and a half days, no time to dilly dally outside.
