Of course Option B is the better option for the community as a whole. But unless you want to start forcing Option B in the rules, then it's not always going to happen, and you should accept that sometimes you'll be seeing Option A.

It comes down to how you want to approach this thread. Are you more concerned with giving or taking? Not you specifically, I'm talking in general.

I like to think that those in this thread that are more in tune with the spirit of it are in the majority.

But I also think that it is naive to believe that every participant will be.

I'm saying that there are rules in place to weed them out. If we're not happy with them, we (Harv) can change them. If we think they're fine the way they are, then let's let them do their job.

I do not believe that deriding those that are following the rules will end up helping the TGT thread find new members. I believe it will scare them off.

No Golden Age / Silver Age reader copy collectors? I'd switch it up if I was you since I see most people blowing these out for $1/$2 per book in sales threads.

Didn't we just go over not telling people you are interested in a set if you can't grab it for two days?

Wait - you haven't taken something and you have plenty of post so you must be on the naughty list.

:gossip: He's not eligible, because he took an offer from vaillant a few days ago, iirc.

Sorry, I wasn't trying to claim anything. I promise I won't take after 48 hours.I was just saying that's the kind of lot I would be interested. I should have just left a comment that it's a nice lot for those who are interested in older, non-superhero and wouldn't mind if it wasn't high grade.

$$$$ shouldn't matter

Aren't most of the perceived issues with PIF is people taking big ticket offerings and offering up drek? Money typically defines drek.

" Dear God of the Comic Universe -

I want to start a thread where people can come together in harmony and share the mutual love and interest of the hobby by giving and taking comic related items for the betterment of all and mankind. Do you think it will work?

Love,

Harvey "

True-but drek to me is more Shadowhawk II # 3-now the previous poster can certainly veto, but Chip has made it well known where his income falls. I think he legitimately is trying to offer a package thriftily that's made somewhat of a theme.

lol

But was HAS worked pretty well so far are all the awesome side offers. No rules or worry about value, just people posting up cool stuff with no expectations of getting anything back. It seems to me THAT has made this the Giving Tree.
