Suspicious. I'm convinced there's something shady going on. I feel like it's weird that Mishmash was so obviously butt-hurt when you brought up those shills, and has been going out of his way to be defensive the last few days. He kept saying stuff like "why are you asking questions? Are you doing the shilling!!??! Then how could you know?!?!"

 

It seems highly suspicious and if you look at my posts recently, I was actually supporting Mishmash, as I was of the belief that the books weren't being shilled. This is super weird. Not kosher in my mind. He buys the book last week at $800 or $900 (which isn't low by GPA standards) and turns around and sells it for double? In a buy it now auction, no less? People can support it all they want (and that makes me suspicious of them too to be honest, because they seem to willing to overlook the obvious indiscrepancies).

 

I knew I should have been wary when mishmash pulled out the threat of the libel suit. Sadly, it seems J would have won and got the attorney's fees. Can't get libel for true statements. It's kind of a gotcha situation. Mishmash would've been better off just declaring one of the books was his, instead of getting caught.

, thanks for hitting the notify button on my earlier post. I'll keep my "garbage books" (a mid-grade X-Men 4 is garbage apparently). At least I know I have clean hands and don't have a lynch-mob after me. I supported you early on Mishmash, and I was just pointing out how strange your hostile remarks were. You would've been smarter to stay out of the convo if you had said book up and selling for an enormous amount. Even if it is a legit sale, your antics are leading many to think otherwise. Teaches me to agree with you on anything. Sorry Jaydog, you should get your honorary sheriff's badge for this bust.

 

Oh, and at the libel suits. Glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that. There are a few people who have threated libel suits on this board, yet they never materialize for some reason

How do you know?

 

It's obvious, just putting two and two together. His MP7 was the only one that had a "buy it now" option on it in the last week, and he said that a $500 offer he got was a "low ball". Now here he is re listing the item, exactly as I said he would, after the fake "buy it now" for $1900 he had on another MP 7 listing under another user ID.

 

Explains why he got so upset by this thread, he clearly felt it would upset the apple cart.

I have a strong basis for believing that neither sale was legit. The fake 1900 sale was to pump the re-list of this copy. I would imagine he is hoping to get a real buyer on it this time since he has the "make offer" on it now. Then he will re-list the other copy. The whole thing is one big fraud, and he has done it before on other books.

The dude called me stupid and called my books garbage, and was saying disgusting things to Jaydogrules. He deserves it. Sorry. Don't be rude and we won't do the same to you. Jay NEVER pointed the finger. He brought up the shills, and out of nowhere Mishmash comes out of nowhere to talk smack and ACCUSE JAY OF SHILLING!!

 

That's a stooge move, especially when fellow boardie jjfversion1 pointed out that he sold the same MP7 to Mishmash on the boards last week for 1/2 the price of that "legit" sale.

 

Again, if you're a new member, please note that if you do shady things, you will be called out. What, do you want us to just ignore Mishmash calling us all stupid for disagreeing with him? And saying Jay is a lowballer and I have garbage books. Good riddance that he's no longer posting in this thread. Ran home to mommy to cry that most of the board turned on him. If he were polite and just said "I do not believe there is shilling" and gone away, then maybe it wouldn't be exposed that he is calling Jaydog out for a reason. Why was he so adamant on proving Jaydog wrong about the shilled MP7's? If he were happy and content with his legit double market value sale, why didn't he just say nothing? I wouldn't have said anything for fear of people thinking I shilled my book... maybe I just think too much.
