Bosco, where? I didn't see it on the list of linked articles. Please post a link.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, it is a few months back (Article #5) where he was asked about Namor showing up in one of the upcoming Marvel movies. The link I originally had is now long gone, so I had to find a new reference to his interview.

Very cool thread, thanks for your efforts.

:foryou:

Thanks. I just figured it can be such a confusing research topic anyway, better to have a repository of all these references about the various characters.

So far, it appears all the articles about Taskmaster reference the same Tim Miller interview response to Empire, other than Heroic Hollywood stating it contacted some 'Marvel sources' for confirmation.

"I’d love to see Deadpool go up against Taskmaster who’s another Marvel total f**kin’ badass," Miller shared with Empire. Taskmaster, aka Tony Masters, took a serum that allows him to utilize his muscle memory to absorb knowledge instantaneously. As a result, he’s skilled in various forms of combat and is an expert swordsman and marksman.

So there's no indication that Marvel got anything at all for letting Fox use the X-Men television rights?

New friendship? It's magical!

How lame. They should have been able to tell them to bend over and grab their ankles to get those. :taptaptap:

Maybe they only let them have them in 1-year increments. Let them get a successful series or two up, then gouge them in a year or three for something like the FF rights back.

It would be interesting to find out what Fox and Marvel worked out that they finally came to an agreement. All the December announcement mentioned was production credits.

Marvel and Fox to bring new X-Men Superheroes on television

Marvel clarified the extent of involvement between the two parties. Fox will handle the production part and Marvel will co-produce.
