I sent my commission request to Paolo's art dealer within the time frame before the list closed. Does anyone who may have done this in the past know how long it usually takes to have them tell you whether or not you've made the cut? Do they e-mail you to tell you that you didn't make it?

No j scott campbell.... :(

Just because he is not on the Artist Alley list does not mean he is not coming.

He never is at Artist Alley. He's always on the con floor every year.

Just check the exhibitor list.

There's also this tweet that should cheer you up -- https://mobile.twitter.com/JScottCampbell/status/770054317088894976/photo/1

There's also this link from the NYCC site --

Some peeps taking pre-commissions at NYCC:

1. MARC LAMING - http://monkeymarc.blogspot.com/

Awesome artist who worked on

He hooked me up with this bad @$$ piece 2 years ago --

"They will be 11x17 ink or water colour pieces with a maximum of three characters at $300 (more characters can be added but the price will be increased) - I'm happy to discuss larger pieces but these too would be a higher price." Be advised, they're for pickup only.

Here's his Deviant Art Page -- http://marclaming.deviantart.com/gallery/

2. STEPHANIE HANS through their art rep MORE GREAT ART is taking commissions -- https://mobile.twitter.com/MOREGREATART/status/765777198255116288?p=v

3. DAN VEESENMEYER -- if you like lego art, then this is the person for you. Inexpensive and for pick up only: https://mobile.twitter.com/dveese/status/770383499274620928?p=v

Here's their page -- http://dansartwork.com/blog/2016/8/29/new-york-comic-con-2016-pre-commission-sketch-list-open

"Base Pricing:

$50 - Single character, ink and marker on 9”x12”Bristol board sheet.

$100 - One or Two characters, ink and marker drawn on blank Comic Book sketch cover. (Same price if you send me one).

New higher level art option this year: $375 - Twelve character grid portrait artwork in grey tones, ink and marker on 11”x17”sheet.

Additional character fees depend upon format and idea."

4. GARRY BOOM is accepting commissions through Felix Comic Art and you do not need to attend the con to get a commission. Just contact the rep for pricing and to set something up -- https://mobile.twitter.com/FelixComicArt/status/768890786289029124?p=v

5. MAX FIURAMA, ROLAND BOSCHI, GORAN SUDZUKA and DALIBOR TALAJIC are open for commissions through SPLASH PAGE ART. Commissions for Paolo Rivera dried up within 20 minutes of advertisement on twitter AND he's not doing commissions at the con so don't bother asking. Check the link for pricing and contact info -- http://www.splashpageart.com/newsdetail.asp?n=71

You haven't posted your photo ops yet. If you had I would have signed up with you first :baiting:
