That is fantastic, very original to think of that.

That was runner up for my favorite... but I still had to give the knowledge to the guy that dressed up in Ralph Kramden's Man from Mars / Pinball Machine Halloween costume. That one really made me laugh.

So at this point it is no longer a secret... I am in the market for another ASM 1.

I went around the show and came across this:

(No I did not buy - I am waiting for the auction game)

CGC signed by Stan Lee but the first page was signed by Ditko. Story is that the guy worked near the Marvel Offices and delivered stuff there and asked Ditko to sign it. It was on consignment.

Jaybuck was with me and can verify the story about the book.

So this book was slabbed opened to the first page? I've never heard of that before ... although I guess if you were going to do it, this might be the book to do it with. hm

I thought the same initially, but it looks like it is a color photocopy that is included with the slab.

Great report :applause: The Eastwood cosplay was awesome, also agree with the others on the nice looking Harley :cloud9: my daughter want's to know if you saw any new Harry Potter lego sets. Thanks again for the report Andrew :applause:

Lego allowed the Harry Potter license to expire after the last movie came out so there will be no new Harry Potter sets in the future. I never say never though as Lego let the DC license expire in 2008 only to acquire it again for their Superhero line. With a new Harry Potter book on the horizon that leads to all sorts of speculation such as additional movies and licensing.

The good news is that if she already has the minifigures, then with lego you guys can go on Bricklink and start to order parts or elements that you need along with brick tubs and start adding to your Harry Potter world.

That's what this person did. She amassed around 400,000 bricks and built her own Hogwarts. Check this out.

And here we go... believe it or not... this was the sketch commission I was most excited about. I asked Larry Hama for a GI Joe 21 Cover Snake Eyes sketch.

As he handed it to me he stated that he actually liked it and wanted to take a picture of it which he did... then I asked if he would take a picture of us with the sketch. This is in the Black Hole part of the collection.

He posted that one on his fb page.

I am officially jealous of this piece. Great stuff man! Nice Spidey strip too. I should have hit you and Jay up. Definitely next year. I love the report and pics!

Very obscure but awesome costumes. Tests out your vintage geeky knowledge.

One of THE best Twilight zone episodes ever.

First one I ever remember watching. Always has stuck with me and been a favorite.

So, is "Steve Ditko" signature genuine ?

.... sure looks like it..... I've got a friend who has received several letters from Steve, all signed..... just like that. I'd heard Ditko had attended one of or maybe the first Seulling NY Con and that he may have signed some items there as well.... but supposedly that show soured him on attending any others.... for some reason. GOD BLESS....

Grade was a 5.0. Normally I wouldn't go for a SS on a key but I wanted to gauge all ASM 1s around the show. The book was priced not for sale but was on consignment. The boardie that was with me at that point believed it to be a real Ditko sig as well.
