Wow That is a beautiful copy! Makes mine pale in comparison although there is only ".5" grade difference.

Dell #14, Gold Key 49, 61, 62.

I don't think any of those are particularly rare or high demand, they're just the ones I haven't happened to get yet.

Thanks for asking...THE PARK AVENUE COLLECTION is a group pf 750+ comics I bought off the newsstand between 1942

and  1954...THE CIRCLE COMICS  COLLECTION is a very large group of Silver and Bronze age comics bought by me and

my sons to sell at early COMIC CONS.  Books came mainly from THE PASSAIC BOOK CENTER which was a great store.

I picked up this awesome unlicensed and unused package for some kind of children's rice treat at a Tokyo flea market. Wish I could figure out what year this was made but I think I would need to read Japanese to do that to research the company. MIckey and Donald must have been beloved figures here and I wonder if the back is a take off on Babar. And who is on that flag Donald is waving!!

Wow, cool and eye popping colors Not sure about the giraffe on back but I think the elephant is Elmer.

You probably have someone at work or a friend translate it for you.

Elmer was a kid.  That looks more like Babar (created 1931) than Elmer to me.  It's a clever piece that has enough variation from the real characters to allow for denial of plagiarism.

I agree Elmer is a candidate, but I think he’s too young as he’s a kid Elephant:

Looks to me like that piece was unauthorized, ripping off characters of the 1930s, and not just Disney b/c that looks like a Babar rip-off to me.  The plagiarists make the characters very close to the originals but change enough details (like Donald’s hat) to maybe get away with it.
