It's hard to model books like that, there's usually some price compression in every grade below 9.8 and then a huge premium on the 9.8.

Agreed. I think it just uses a standard ratio and inflation plus I think that 9.8 might have been during the 2020 madness. The 678 did go for the 12 month avg which is nice. That previous sale was like $700 over 12 month avg, so it did give the average a nice little bump. After seeing ASM fall back to around pre-insanity prices, it'll be interesting to see what happens with the current auctions. Hopefully everything stays steady.

See page 1; printing errors aren't being considered for this list. And if they were, there are plenty of other printing errors that would rank above this one, since this isn't really a key of any significance.

I never rated the Batman issue on account of the sub-standard cover. I notice it jumped from 7 to 10K on the final day, so it may be a case of shill bidding.

The ASM 667 is also rare, but again, a very mediocre cover.

Looks like a RAW copy of the Wolverine 1 Campbell Wolverine dressed in deadpool's costume variant just popped for $8,000 on ebay.   :ohnoez:

I think only a raw copy of the 667 Dell'otto at $8500 a few years back exceeds that for a modern variant raw.

CGC 9.8: $20K, or best offer

"Bidders, be aware that this comic was found, among others, in an abandoned warehouse, & is a possible misprint."
Um, *someone* owns that warehouse. So basically the seller is confirming that the book was stolen.

Thr books are miscut along the top, the colors are wrong, the paper is wrong , they're obviously fake.
